Prior to this sites launching, Central Florida experienced, and as of this writing is still experiencing the
disappearance of a beautiful young woman. When it was realized that something was
wrong the family took immediate measures with both the police and the media.
This happened to go on for 2 to 3 days with
mostly local television stations and websites
releasing the information about the case. As we know, the news channels are affiliates of large networks and the information they
publish stays regulated within their local areas. Not to say the network doesn't pick
this information up, but the 15 minutes of fame
saying doesn't do very good under these circumstances.
This is why I say that. The speed of
the internet under broadband conditions is almost as fast as sound. An
example being, while talking on the phone to someone you just clicked send to, that email is in their inbox about the time you say, I just sent it.
Emails and VoIP, voice over internet protocol, are not the only instant aspects of the internet. I've dealt in domain name registrations for the past 7 years, and within recent years, domain
registration constitutes live viewable options within minutes, if not seconds of your credit card being charged.
Hypothetical scenario, I've been abducted, my family is
distressed, and we live in a large city, I could be anywhere. They know they can get my picture on
tonight's news, and they know someone may be watching it for that brief instant while they show my
profile. They can hope someone within that short time,
within that regulated viewing area, saw me and recognized me from anywhere that day.
Good Luck.
Not to say a lot of viewers didn't see it, they did no doubt, question is, how many of them are blessed with a photographic memory? Not many. Which leads to the purpose of SomeoneIsMissing.com and my point. You can do this yourself, but I think my family
would be more interested in finding me than trying to do what I'm about to explain.
The larger we become and the more people we have the pleasure of helping, the more this
website will become a household name. This service is going nowhere, and the domain name will go on forever.
When this finally happens, anyone, anywhere in this country can call us and tell us their story is credible, and the news is
releasing it, and ask, can you help us. What we will do for them is give them a free ticket to the information highway working in their favor.
If needed, within minutes of the conversation, or
during the conversation if necessary, we will give them a web address to give to the media to put
under the profile they're displaying while
reporting the story. In this case, finding someone watching that has a photographic
memory becomes less important.
Many people these days have family pictures
directly on their hard drives. If during our emergency phone call they're able to email us one of
these pictures, we can instantly have it ready for print online and also can be displayed on a
printable missing person's flyer.
Now, when the viewers see the profile for a couple brief minutes on the news, they may remember the eye color or hair color, but there's a good chance they're definitely going to remember the
website to go to for more information.
Over the years this has become natural human instinct. Your driving down the road and see advertisements all day
everyday. More times than not the www. is going
to subliminally register for later use if needed. That's what made the
uniqueness of the web addresses that we all experience today. Some are simply Unforgettable.
Once we have the case online, not only can the media verbally
announce it if pressed for time, but the press can print it and it has no choice but to be remembered and used. When they get to the web address they find a detailed description of the person along
with the events leading up to the disappearance. It'll be right there in front of them to print and save,
email to everyone they know all over the
country, or in our case, share their views in our forums.
To sum it up, this nation does not have an all in one resource for missing
people. There's portals for it, but as in cases like the press and media, they help you enough to
say they're there and doing their job. If you have daily updates of your case, we're
going to post daily updates of your case. If your
case has the unfortunate out come of not being resolved for a long
period of time, we have the time, the abilities, and
the space for you.
SomeoneIsMissing.com is going to do for you, that from my knowledge, no one is doing already. We're going to help you, stay
with you, and put as much information on the internet that you
feel may help you reunite with your loved one.
Our location is approximately 1 hour from the north Florida border, that means if my family doesn't
spread their search past the stateline of Florida fast, their efforts may become futile. In a recent case, along
with the media and our abilities, we had a young ladies profile on over
100,000 computers from coast to coast and into 20 different countries around the
world, within one weeks time.
Please tell anyone that may benefit from our help that we're out there for them.
Thank You.
