Prince George’s County police this week issued their second appeal for help locating a schizophrenic man who went missing from his South Laurel apartment in December.
O’Malley promises to take care of state’s transportation needs
Police, who issued the earlier appeal in January, said on Wednesday that Maurice T. Cammon, 29, of the 9000 block of Contee Road, still had not been seen or heard from since 7 a.m. Dec. 12.
Cpl. Stephen Pacheco said investigators requested another press release be issued in the hopes that it refreshes the memory of those who may have encountered Cammon.
Cammon, who takes medication for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, disappeared after telling his sister he wanted to go to the airport, according to police.
He is black, 6-feet 2-inches tall, about 185 pounds and was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a dark coat.
