Prince George’s County police this week issued their second appeal for help locating a schizophrenic man who went missing from his South Laurel apartment in December.
O’Malley promises to take care of state’s transportation needs
Police, who issued the earlier appeal in January, said on Wednesday that Maurice T. Cammon, 29, of the 9000 block of Contee Road, still had not been seen or heard from since 7 a.m. Dec. 12.
Cpl. Stephen Pacheco said investigators requested another press release be issued in the hopes that it refreshes the memory of those who may have encountered Cammon.
Cammon, who takes medication for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, disappeared after telling his sister he wanted to go to the airport, according to police.
He is black, 6-feet 2-inches tall, about 185 pounds and was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a dark coat.
Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District VI Station is continuing their investigation into the disappearance of 29 year old Maurice Cammon who was reported missing to police last December.

On December 12, 2006, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Mr. Cammon left his residence in the 9000 block of Contee Road after telling his sister he wanted to go to the airport. He has not been seen or heard from since. He suffers from a bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia that requires medication.
Mr. Cammon is a black male, 6’2”, and weighs about 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing grey sweat pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt, and a dark-coat.
